Statistical Training Courses

Marriott Statistical Consulting has been providing statistical training to many organisations for the past 12 years. Some people may be forgiven for thinking that statistics courses are dull but our courses are different.  We bring fun and energy to all of our courses, whether scheduled or in-house. Nigel Marriott, the course instructor has had many years of experience in training and offers an eye-opening and enjoyable take on Statistical training.  He is able to deliver courses at all levels from beginner to advanced and  offers in-house training, bespoke training as well as scheduled public courses.

Scheduled Training Courses

On occasion, we will run 1 or more of our standard courses listed below as public course available to all.  These take place throughout the year in the beautiful city of Bath.  Discounts are available for people booking more than 1 day.

In-house Training

If you are looking to save money without having to reduce the quality of training or number of delegates that attend then you’ll be pleased to learn we offer in-house training.  Our statistical training package offers your organisation training at a time and a place of your convenience. Our in-house training will be geared towards training people who have to analyse statistics as part of their job and will be delivered by a highly experienced trainer and fully qualified statistician.

Our statistical training will be tailor made to suit your organisation and your staff and is available in various modules.   We are particularly keen use your data as case studies for the exercises in our courses.  We have found from our long experience that when people can apply what they have learnt using data that is familiar to them, they are much more likely to understand and apply what they have learnt in their job.

We run 8 standard courses as listed below but we are very happy to mix & match elements from different courses to create a customised offering that meets your specific requirements.

Should we be unable to create a customised offering from these courses, we are always happy to create new training content as required. If we feel that we can reuse such new content, then in most cases we will be happy to waive any additional fee to cover the costs of developing such new content.

On a number of occasions, we have run these courses on behalf of the Royal Statistical Society.  This can be a particularly attractive option if you & your staff require a certificate to show they have undertaken a relevant statistical training course.
