Course Details

Following the publication of the new statistical guidance by CL:AIRE on “Comparing soil contamination data with a critical concentration“, Marriott Statistical Consulting Ltd are pleased to offer the latest version of their Microsoft Excel based tool which automates the production of dot and box plots, summary statistics and confidence intervals for any dataset you wish to analyse.

The 2023 version 1.0 allows you to store data for unlimited number of samples and to seamlessly switch between datasets and quickly produce plots for reports, presentations and general analysis.  A new feature is the ability to compare two datasets side by side in the same plot rather than in separate plots.

We offer the following two options for purchasing this template.

1. One-off Purchase – £750+VAT – you would receive a copy of the template along with a couple of hours of development time to tweak and refine the template according to your needs.  You are then free to modify and use the template as you wish but any further support you need would be chargeable.  The latest version contains VBA code and uses macros but you could choose to use your included development time to have a VBA/macro free version developed instead.
2. Annual Subscription – £500+VAT – you would receive a copy of the latest version of the template and then further upgrades as they occur.  The fee includes technical support for a single designated user (more users can be added for £75+VAT per person).  The format of the template would be fixed since this is a version shared among many clients.  Technical support is confined to the functionality of the tool rather than the statistical interpretation of the results.  Please note this version contains VBA code and requires macros to be enabled on your PC.

The one-off version for £750+VAT can be purchased by credit card by adding the number of copies you wish to purchase to your shopping cart using the form above.  Once confirmation of purchase is received, you will be emailed the template to the email address you provide along with your receipt within 24 hours.  If you prefer to be invoiced instead, please contact us using these details.

The annual fee option is not available by credit card.  Please contact us using these details instead to request this option and to be invoiced.  You will be invoiced at the start of each 12 month period and should you decide not to renew your subscription, you may continue to use the latest version in your possession but you will not longer receive any upgrades or technical support.
